Hi I'm glad you stopped by. If you like melodic, original solo piano music, you've come to the right place.

I would like to announce the release of my new CD "Flying Solo."

Living in Northeastern Iowa, many winter evenings are spent dreaming about warm, tropical places. The majority of the music on this CD was inspired by those images created in my mind.

For example, "Flying Solo" is a song about flying on your own for the very first time. "Behind the Haze" was inspired by a drive on a foggy, misty, hazy summer morning reflecting on the mysteriousness of the haze. "Carousel" was inspired by images of children riding an old-fashioned carousel. "Dance in the Morning Sun" is about the feeling of the summer morning sunlight dancing on my face as I awoke. "Like an Ocean" was inspired by a walk along the North Carolina coast listening to the power of the ocean and "Sunset on the Lake" brings to mind the vibrant colors of the sunset as it reflects off the water at Clear Lake. It is my hope that the music of "Flying Solo" will bring these warm images to you as you listen.
